British Christmas Jumpers & The Clothes Show Live have collaborated to launch a new Made In Britain Award for 2014

Committed to celebrating and rewarding young talent in the creative arts, the undiscovered awards have been developed as part of Clothes Show Live’s alternative curriculum.

Reinvent and refashion the traditional British Christmas jumper to produce an on trend, innovative and highly creative, limited edition garment for an Autumn/ Winter collection.

The winning design is now on sale with profits being shared amongst The Teenage Cancer Trust, and a bursary for students at our local fashion college - De Montfort University.

Designers Notes - Amy Jordan, 21, Winner of our Made In Britain Award in association with The Clothes Show Live

This cool slouchy jumper dress was inspired by winter forest animals celebrating Christmas. It features a beautiful snowy owl, a quintessential part of the English winter. This jumper is a fun eye catching take on the traditional Christmas jumper. Manufactured in the UK this design is unique to British Christmas Jumpers.

British Christmas Jumpers spreads festive cheer alongside global retailers

British Christmas Jumpers chosen as the winner of iZettle’s 12 Hour Store competition and selected to trade on Saturday 1st November 2014.

Winner chosen by an expert panel including Charles Dunstone, investor in iZettle and founder of Carphone Warehouse, Eric Van Der Kleij, former CEO of Tech City and Jacob de Geer, co-founder and CEO at iZettle.

On the winner of the competition, Sir Charles Dunstone, investor in iZettle and founder of Carphone Warehouse, says: “The response to iZettle’s 12 Hour Store competition has been phenomenal. It was tough to choose a winner but we felt British Christmas Jumpers fitted the concept that ‘big businesses start small’ well and the video entry they submitted was engaging and quite frankly, a cut above the rest.”
